Innovative Automation RoboTape team

Our team utilizes a variety of cutting edge technologies including Motoman’s MotoSim, ABB’s Robot Studio and Fanuc’s Roboguide to perform robotic simulations, Solidworks for machine design, ePlan for completing electrical and fluid power drawings, and AutoCAD for design work.

Our skilled and experienced IAI staff and technologies come together to allow us to specialize in custom automation for a variety of fields.


With over 30 years of experience in automotive, assembly systems and test systems, IAI has a proven track record of successfully working with top OEMs and Tier One manufacturers. Assembly and test systems have included automotive interiors, automotive exteriors, automotive powertrain, automotive electronics, and automotive seating.


Innovative Automation has worked on automating systems for architectural products, health and beauty products, personal hygiene products, and household item testing. When converting manual processes, IAI ensures that all elements of human work are represented in the final product. 


IAI has worked closely with several local medical manufacturers to create systems that closely follow throughput and traceability requirements. Our success in these projects has allowed us to expand this field to include automation systems that handle birth control devices, oxygen masks, biofluid sample collection containers, material handling, and vision inspection. IAI is currently working on a new medical project manufacturing Face Shields for essential services workers, and a ventilator attachment called Tidal Pump that can be utilized for medical or veterinary purposes.
