Innovative Automation donates $250,000 toward research and innovation at Georgian College

Innovative Automation Partnership Georgian College

Steve Loftus, President, and Co-Founder of Innovative Automation, along with co-owners Michael Lalonde and Matthew Setterington announced they will donate $250,000 toward Georgian College’s newly opened Advanced Technology, Innovation and Research Centre, at Barrie’s campus.

Loftus, a former Georgian student, said of the donation:

“To continue to lead in the new global economy, the required skill level of our staff has to increase, Innovative Automation is looking to our partnership with Georgian, including combined degree-diplomas with Lakehead, to meet our growing needs.”

Georgian College’s President and CEO, MaryLynn West-Moynes is optimistic about the students who will benefit from this partnership because it will give them the opportunity to take part in research and innovation collaboration, strengthening the local and regional economy.
