Innovative Automation History

Innovative Automation was founded in 1989 by Stephen Loftus, Jim Carnegie and Paul Tyndall. Jim and Paul retired in 2007 and 2014 respectively, and Steve stepped into the current president role, while Michael Lalonde and Matthew Setterington joined the ownership team in 2013. With strong leadership and our highly skilled team we have steadily grown throughout the years to become a pioneer in automation technology for manufacturing on a global scale.

Throughout the automation industry, we have long been known for our cutting edge designs and culture of innovation. Our diverse team brings a wide range of skills and experience to the table, allowing us to provide assembly automation, robotics, testing automation and more, with the majority of our business coming from pleased existing clients.

We moved into a new 62,000 sq. ft. facility at the end of 2017 which allowed us to bring all operations under one roof. After 420 days in the new location we completed an addition of 24,000 sq. ft., which brought our facility to 86,000 sq.ft and allowed us to greatly increase capacity. The future is bright and through investments in our team and a focus on providing exceptional customer satisfaction, our growth doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
